What is there to say about Greer except he was everything I hoped and wanted him to be. He was such a grump and closed off yet he was getting to the point where he knew something had to change in his life he just didn’t know what. Enter Danika. She was the perfect person for him. She was a super independent person who could do anything she put her mind to. Yet when Greer tried to “control” her she liked it but only he could do this. And it was on Danika that brought that side out in him. Of course Greer had a lot of baggage that he had to work through before he realized that as long as he had Danika he could work though anything.
I loved this series of books and I must say the best was saved for last.

Ohhhh myyyyy! Greer and Danika’s story was everything and more than I was hoping for! I have a thing for hot, grouchy cops and Greer had peaked my interest in the first two books in this series. I loved all the books but this one is definitely my favorite! Danika was the perfect partner for Greer and this book really hit me in the feels! Tessa Bailey has another winner!
I really loved the final book in the Academy series. Greer was so much more than I expected him to be. I knew he was grumpy and rough around the edges, but the more you get to know him, the more you understand why. Danika is an amazing woman, a top-notch recruit, always there for her family and her friends, most times putting them before herself. She craves the Greer's control, something she didn't even know she wanted. I'm sad this series has ended but I think it ended in the best way possible.
Ok it has a hot cop/boss in it and the enemies-to-lovers trope so I decided to buy. It has a steep price for an ebook and to be honest a bit too steep for this book.

I did love the interactions of Danika, police academy student, and lieutenant Greer Burns. (Greer?!!! Sorry, hate the name).
There are some interactions between the leads that have started in the two earlier books. I have not read those books and have no intention as the heroes in those books are too young for my taste.

Loved the yummy and grouchy stuff and there are some hot scenes. A bit too much internal monologue but overall great story!
Greer was really head over heels for Danika, as became clear in his POV. Loved that!
Disturbing His Peace is a really satisfying final installment to Tessa Bailey's Academy series. Although you could read this book on it's own, it's really fun to see the characters from the other books in the series, like visiting with old friends.

Greer and Danika are such a compelling couple because when the tough guy falls in love, he falls hard! Having been acquainted with Greer since book one, it is GLORIOUS to see behind the gruff, task master facade that he always wears. My favorite part of any romance is the struggle, the angst, the REASONS that they can't be together. Because you know they're going to end up together. It's a romance, after all. I love the struggle in this book! There is a scene that takes place in a locker room that literally made me gasp and say "I KNOW HE JUST DID NOT!!!" What more can you ask for, when you know at the end you're going to get an HEA??

Tessa Bailey is such a skilled writer. She's not just a wonderful technical writer, but her storytelling ability is unparalleled and she builds worlds that I want to actually live in. I'll settle for reading them again and again!
 
Loved these characters and this book! I've been looking forward to this story after reading the first two in the series (which is not necessary to read this one), and it did not disappoint. Greet was just as hardheaded here as he was in the other stories, but we get to see him learn how to bend and let people back into his life. Danika was great, the perfect amount of feisty and loving. It was great to see how Greer could help her with the things the struggled with.

As always, Bailey's writing is the bomb. Lots of steamy scenes (yowza) and great humor. I think of the three in the set, this one is probably my favorite.
Greer and Danika. First off, what great, strong enough names, for stubborn characters. Next, you can always count on Tessa Bailey's wit and personality to shine through in the story. Each word is dynamic, sexy, filled with amazing dialogue and original plots. As any reader does, you see what's coming, anticipate a predictability with almost tale you immerse yourself into. Not here, and not with Tessa. At least for me, I find myself quite often happy to be wrong, angry wit myself for staying up in the middle of the morning because I cannot put my reader down. I can't not end without finishing her books. It makes me grrr and shake my head at myself. Okay. Enough about me. Greer is layered. Daniela is icing. Together, they are a multiple layered cake that I could eat up forever. So, Tessa, if you ever read these reviews I WANT MORE CAKE.
This highly anticipated final story in the Academy series has been nothing short of Tessa Bailey's finest! In it, we get the much need and oh so perfectly written closure between Danika and Greer, whose respective job each prevents them from engaging is ANY sort of relationship other than a professional one. After all, he's her superior officer...or is he? The scene in the car...one of Tessa's freakin awesome sex scenes to date, and that is astronomical praise (deservedly so too) as Tessa Bailey's steamy scenes go. Queen of the perfect contemporary romance, filled with wit, hotness and the happy ever after we romance readers must have,click now! Get the entire for and enjoy!
