I liked this book, it would make a good book for an undergraduate starting on women's studies and the media.
Arrived on time, practically new! Definately met my expectations.
A great survey but I would have loved another 300 pages or so.
Definitely a fine introduction to this field.
Interesting read, definitely not what I expected. I was prepared to be flamingly pissed off the whole time but that was not the case. Written with humor which helps to diffuse the parts that do piss you off. All around a good read for anyone wishing to understand the relationship between feminism and pop culture.
Good, I am using it for a Pop Culture lesson. Good addition as a piece of reference material for pleasure reading but good for the purpose for which I purchased it.
I used this book for a class on Gender and Popular Culture, and it was a great supplement and super interesting. I've kept it because I enjoyed it so much and learned a lot about our culture. I would recommend it even just for a casual read.
I got this book for my women's studies capstone class. I learned a lot from it and honestly I think that I understand pop culture a lot better now than i did before. Now that I've finished reading it, this book is now doubling as my watch list.
